What Drives Content Growth on Wikipedia?

Wikipedia draws from a large pool of contributors and each edit is often less than a sentence long. We study how different editors collaborate on a given topic and how edits foster further contributions by other editors. The Atlantic and Stanford Business Insights provide a nice summary of my research with Aleksi Aaltonen on the dynamics of editing behavior on Wikipedia. This podcast also covers our research.
